I have a domain , say , www.mydomain.in, I want to have an email account which reads mail@mydomain.in?

What is the cheapest way to do so ?. i checked with net4India website , they charge 199Rs for the .in domain , but 299 for the email account .., actually i want to start a new project in my college , and wnat to give it a professional look , so please advice whats the cheapest way to get my desired email address??
