Anyone else besides me fed up with gas $?

Furthermore, is anyone fed up with the fact that they make record profits, and are willing to push the economy to the brink again in order to maximize profits? I just had to stay home tonight rather than go out to a movie with some friends because of high gas prices..When people don't have the money to go places, they can't spend it there. What's the solution to this? More deregulation? I really don't think the government is causing the problem; companies are making record profits. More regulation? Hmm...
