Great and convenient dinner meal ideas for when it's chilly outside? I do not cook a whole lot.?

If you have the recipe that would be great but if not you can just say the name and I can find the recipe online. We have two medium size crock pots if it's needed for cooking. I would like to make a good hearty meal surprise for my wonderful husband.. I am 24 years old and do not know of a lot of dinner ideas lol.
