Has there been any new information about Lithium creation?

I know in some of the early concepts of the Big Bang, Oscillating and even Steady State there were issued pertaining to the creation of Lithium, Helium synthesis and the fact that there is as of yet still no explanation for the actual start. I was hoping to maybe get some books to look into. Hope someone can help.
