How can you mistake boredom for desperation?

To be honest, I think this whole thing puffed up to obscene lengths, and lets face it, it's another election, people will speak, then we'll moan for another few years about how it didn't go how we like. You think by now we'd have learned that these elections are placed on a high column, so people actually believe this election will make a difference. No politician perfect, and they've two agendas, stay elected or get elected, once in, we don't matter.
