Should I get a B.C. Rich Warlock Guitar?

I've been playing guitar on my cheap fender starcaster for a year now, and I think I want to upgrade to a better guitar. I'm thinking I want the Warlock, because I really like metal (Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Slayer, The Haunted, etc.) music, and I just can't play them on my starcaster, because can't tune it low enough and keep it. If I tune my BC rich to a dropped B tuning (or whatever most metal is played, I believe it is dropped B), will it warp the neck? also, it is a platinum that I'm looking at, but I might get another type of warlock. So what do you think, should I get it? Thanks!
